World Quality Week

Did you know that this week is World Quality Week (7th to the 11th November?)

In our line of business where assuring quality is at the core of everything we do, it’s particularly relevant and why at ISOAIMS we’re so keen to support it.

The aim of World Quality Week is to raise awareness of those professions that work in quality management across the globe and in effect to fly the flag for quality.

This year’s theme is Quality Conscience: Doing the Right Thing but what does that mean?

We all want to provide our customers with a quality service, to supply them with a quality product, whatever that service or product maybe but increasingly customers and clients want more than that.

They want to know that businesses and organisations are doing the right things and are acting responsibly. That can mean different things to different people. It can be ensuring products are ethically sourced and manufactured to making sure the business takes its corporate responsibility seriously. It can be making sure that an organisation’s staff are treated fairly to ensuring that sustainability is a focus of the business you’re working with.

This year’s theme: Quality Conscience is an opportunity for businesses to think about how they’re doing the right thing by their customers, stakeholders and partners and whether they could do more at every stage of the decision-making process.

ISOAIMS Director Wayne Pearce said: “Everything we do at ISOAIMS is about quality. Our system is about making it easy for customers and clients to manage their own quality (and other) standards so we’re proud to be supporting World Quality Week. Managing quality isn’t just about providing and delivering quality products or systems, it’s all about the systems and methods you bring in to get to that end point. This year’s theme about conscience and doing the right thing will help people think about the decisions they make and what having a corporate conscience actually means in reality.”

At ISOAIMS we make it easy for you to manage your quality standards – wherever you’re working from  – as long as there’s an internet connection, you’ll be able to access, manage and maintain your International Standard Organisation (ISO) management systems.
